In an interview on LAM, Mazzei confirmed that Araceli's interview was filled with the affection she has, but it also set a necessary limit against the insistence of those who keep bringing up her past. He also defended Araceli's stance against those who demand she stop talking about that past. Mazzei stated that he has never spoken ill of him and that every time they crossed paths at events, the treatment was cordial: 'He is Toto's father, I would not deny him a greeting.'
